Yes we are on the beneficial side of this, but the Home Plate umpire in the Stros-Cards game is a complete blind buffoon.
Apologies, Card fan, this is not the way I want to win this.
That pitch to Edmonds wasn't even close.

And Angels fans thought they had bad umpiring?
Edmonds didn't even take the bat off his shoulders
He's tossed out?
Someone needs to toss Cuzzi out... permantly.

Hey, guess what???
If you don't act like a 2 year old... you don't get tossed and get another pitch to help your team...
I'm so tired of baby ass spoiled punks that cost their teams the game...
Hey Edmonds... it probably wasn't the only bad call that game!!!
Learn to be a man... and be there for your team!!!
Rack the Stros!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, RACK the Stros, especially Bruntlett and Everett for turning that double play.
But I don't blame Edmonds. He got hosed the entire game and that last pitch to him wouldn't have been a strike to Yao Ming.

Of coarse it was a bad call...
Now as most of us in life when delt a bad call...
What do you do???
Cry and feel sorry for yourself? Even worse when you play a team game...(others are counting on you)
Or Man Up!!! and pull your boots up!!!
Sorry, this isn't one of the 162... It's the NLC Series, and some others are counting on you...
Rack the DP!!!
Unreal

Too bad nobody bothered to tell Cuzzi that eh?
Only the best teams in baseball made it this far... too bad the umpiring didn't follow suit.
I'll Rack the Astros for playing good ball.. but when the umpires become the focal point of a game... it takes away from the game itself.

Edmonds had it coming with all the bitching he does on every single called strike. I've never seen him take a called strike without turning around and questioning the ump. Even if it is right in the bread basket.
Exactly. He's a fucking douchebag who is overrated and constantly bitches at the umps. What were the trigger words?
And nobody even bothers to talk about that double play....Mabry was clearly safe at first. No way he was out. Walker scores to tie. The ump was just fearing another 18 inning game and said "fuck it, he's out. Crowd will be cheering too loud for anyone to argue this shit."

rozy,
Quit trying to play "everyone's friend". While I was at the game in game 1 and couldn't quite see the strike zone change from where I was at (drunk and all), it apparently happened when Izzy came in to pitch.
The pitch to Edmonds was a ball. Yeah, so what? Umps miss some calls sometimes. He still had an opportunity to bat. He wasn't rung up. His hissy fit is what caused him to get tossed.
And besides...his replacement hit the ball harder than he has all series. They got an upgrade.
Houston has EARNED every one of their wins in this series.
And to the tard who said Mabry was safe, thank God YOU aren't umping these games.

Did you bother to watch the replay, or were you busy beating off to Adam Everett?

Lay off the crackpipe. The call sucked. Being someone's friend is irrelevant.
'Sides, this was all yesterday. :D
