Wow! Texas dodged 3 bullets at the same time.

Let me go on record and say that I was pretty bitter last February when Texas missed out on M Bennett, F Rouse, and R Perrloser. Mostly at RP, but after seeing what we missed out on I'm happy to say we dodged some huge bullets.

RP - handled his recruiting like a Prima donna and has done nothing to change the perception that he is a me-first guy. All his talk about him being a heisman candidate that year looks comical right now.

MB - Another guy who has hit campus as a "me first" person and done nothing but get into fights. I will let this one play out, but don't be surprised if he drops football for basketball.

FR - Catching his act on the sidelines was an embarrassment to himself and his coaches. Texas had a receiver like him a couple of years ago, a guy named Robert Timmons, he pulled that same shit in practice and Mack kicked him off the team. Too bad cause Timmons was a gifted player, but he didn't know how to keep his mouth shut. I don't care how great Rouse is, he isn’t better or more important than Bowden.

Every one of those guys is incredibly talented, but they all are proving to be cancer in the locker room. One of these guys a program can handle, two is a huge problem, but all three would have been a program killer.

To quote Garth Brooks "I thank God for unanswered prayers".

What has MB done that you are talking about? I haven't seen anything about him. I just have seen him drop pass after pass.

So what you are saying is I can't comment on any team other than Texas, but I could if Texas sucked? Fact is all three of the above mentioned guys screwed Texas over last Febuary. I find it ironic that all three have proven to be head cases and the more I see them the more I realize that they did Texas a favor.

To answer Frisco's question, Bennett has been in a fight and he threatened to quit if he didn't get more playing time and more passes. This information comes from a very good source. Keep in mind two members of the A&M Staff have ties to Texas.

That is not all he said

Bill, what I find the most troubling about the Rouse deal is that they allowed the spoiled brat to play in the game after his temper tantrum.
If I were coaching that team he would be running steps all week and would be in street clothes next weekend. If he does'nt like it give him transfer papers.

I agree Nolsey, the sense of entitlement from these kids is rediculous. The 3 I mentioned will all likely end up in the NFL but look back at Clarrett and his circus act. His talent got him into the NFL but his attitude got him kicked out. I wish Bowden would have made an example of him it would go a long way to keeping these kids in order.

Is it a sense of entitlement. I don't think so. More like that ghetto attitude where one thinks that a temper tantrum will get him props and spect because he supposedly has the balls to "stand up to" his coaches.

It isnt just ghetto you racist fuck.

Rix did it the last 4 years. He was a little prick who cried all the time and got his way. His way was a record 5 loses to Miami.

Please leave the CFB board and take frodo, m2, and the rest of the main street tards with ya.

My source isn't secret its an Ex who personally knows a couple of aggie coaches. I'm sure if you think hard enough you can figure out which coaches they are.

And BTW the fight I mentioned is pretty well known as is MBs attitude, especially on the basketball court.
