From Bartcop...
We ran some disrespectful graphics showing how much Bush is like Hitler.
Such comparison's are ...inacurate, because Hitler drew so much bigger crowds.

I don't time any of my posts...that is so beneath me :)
And I don't have book references on my posts either...ditto on the above.
My point is that the Bush administration is so completely without a direction that the invective about Hitler that probably could be related to some strong conservatives just can't be related to Bush. There's nothing there to compare aside from some weak associations to conservative groups that think there should be Christian and no other prayer in school, and his appointment of Meir who at some time in her life thought that abortion was a bad thing, but has no record on judicial rulings on the right to privacy as it relates to abortion rights...a whole other thing.
Bush is not a conservative. Neither fiscal nor social.
That is one clue that I do have.

Sorry Ang, I should have put ....
"BSmack," at the head of my post.
Anyway, I think extremists of any nature can be compared to Hitler. Bush is not an extremist.
MY point is that BSmack, whines all the time. Compares Bush to Hitler because Bush does what's necessary to protect this country's interests. One of which happens to be keeping the Middle East as stable as possible, and most of anyone's interest in the Middle East is OIL.
BSmack benefits from a fossil fuel driven economy, yet condemns the things necessary to protect it. So he calls Bush, Hitler.
Likewise, if you've read any of BSmack in the past. He sits on a high horse about being a "Yankee" and condemns the South constantly.
Well, this book, appears to bring to light just how much the Knights In Shining Armor from the North in which BSmack takes so much pride ......
Got their armor with money they made on the backs of the very same slaves.
One of the best movie dialogs of all time.
Colonel Robert G. Shaw: So what do you want to do?
Trip: Don't know, sir.
Colonel Robert G. Shaw: It stinks, I suppose.
Trip: Yeah, It stinks bad. And we all covered up in it too. Ain't nobody clean. Be nice to get clean, though.
Colonel Robert G. Shaw: How do we do that?
Trip: We anty up and kick in, sir. But I still don't want to carry your flag.

Christ said a whole lotta cool stuff which applies to mans spiritual growth and our eternal survival, as well as supplying the all of the peoples of this earth with a simple to read road map which could easily lead us to a long term peaceful co-existance; the problem is that not enough folk are listening.
Most prefer to place their faith and trust in shiny self_serving lying de$pots and materialistically_shimmering cretin's who lead them around like one leads a jackass with a carrot.
Good luck with that.
Tick Tock

Oh, and some more examples of how Leni Riefenstahl still impacts American politics.
