SKINS V THE NY FOOTBALL GIANTS - How do you see it?

No one.., and I mean no one, gave the Skinny's any love last week. Ya Ya the 9ner's are next to the worst team this season but great teams have to win those games too.

Anyways, Skins win this thing by 10. Bring it on Skins haters, bring it on.

Skins 1-2 on the road.

Gotta go with NY this time, but will be taking the Skins in Dec, if all things are still equal.

Oh yeah....the Redskins have a top 5 offense now because they played the 9'ers. See 17 pts per game average BEFORE San Fran.

Smoke and mirrors........

See you in Tampa.

I see the Foreskins winning big, and I mean huge. They will do everything to disrupt Manning and probably knock him out for the season. The Foreskin high power offense is simply unstoppable. There isn't a defense out there this year that can shut them down. Beware NFL, the Foreskins are coming to a town near you.

yeah, that stat is not great. at least they lost at KC and denver- i would say the 2 toughest places to win as a road team.

the giants were impressive in that they won the game. did anyone else get the feeling that last pass to toomer was basically a prayer? seeing as some other dude was open to the left, i think maybe it was...anyway- they won and it counts. denver was able to hold them to 10 late in the game and i think the skins will have similar success- especially with lavar back and playing like he did last week. they may finally get turnovers which will dramatically change games with the O they have.

the O may have finally gotten a confidence boost from san fran- sure they have been able to move the ball, but points have been harder to come by. the giants D is 31st in the league and may be last if it werent for the fact that the current last place D niners played the skins last week.

the giants barely won last year- even after the skins coughed up 7 turnovers. and the skins pummeled them the second game. of all the teams in the east, the skins fear the giants the least.

moss and brunell should torch allen and peterson. i think eli has his worst game of the year vs lavar and the skins #4 pass D.

skins survive a late giants TD.

skins 30

G.O. wrote:did anyone else get the feeling that last pass to toomer was basically a prayer?
Not a prayer at all. Eli backed up a few yards as two defenders had broken through the line of scrimmage. This extra room gave Toomer time to come across the niddle of the end zone and it was a perfectly thrown pass. Manning is maturing very rapidly and making plays.

still, why didnt he throw to the wide open guy to the left? oh well, prayer or not, it was complete.

its worth noting the difference in elis stats when he plays against bad pass D's vs ones that are in the average to decent category.

3 games against 3 pass D's ranked 26th or worse- 8 TD's, 1 INT

3 games vs dallas, arizona and NO- (ranked 14th, 19th and 8th- nothing spectacular)- 4 TD's, 3 INT's

skins #4 pass D - with lavar now- should rattle him.

this would explain why tampas D is ranked #1 then. smoke and mirrors, right?

fyi- the skins have played against 3 top 10 D's and beaten all 3.

true- but the point is they weren't rated that high prior to the San Fran game... That game really padded the numbers.

of course they were higher after that game. i believe they were 8th before the game. a good O should move up a few spots vs the worst D in the league.

but implying they arent that good cuz they played one bad team is ludicrous.

half the skins games have been against top 10 D's (and this counting the D's stats in those games against the skins O- take out those stats, and 2- at least- are top 5, as the skins got more yardage in each game than each D gives up on average).

this is my point with tampa- they have played all their games against sub 500 teams- not just one like the skins have. and yet the skins are #2 in O.

considering they were 31st in O in the league last year, that is impressive by anyones standards.

I don't think anyone said they were bad.. and if they did they are morons. And I agree comletely with Tampa- they are starting to fall and are going to fall hard...

Losers the Blew Men group are.

'Skins are the more complete team.
Everyone here knows that.
Rack G.O.

'Skins win 24-20. I hate to admit it, but Eli is playing like he's gonna be the real deal in the not too distant future.

The NFC East is shaping up as the best division in the NFC. None of the teams are considered #1 in the NFL, but all four teams are worth the price of admission.

As for the game, it's a classic coin flipper, could go either way. I give the very slight edge to NY for being at home.

G.O. wrote:still, why didnt he throw to the wide open guy to the left? oh well, prayer or not, it was complete.
He had 2 defenders running right at him, so he backpeddled and made sure he knew he was safe. Also, I think he knew the route that Toomer was running would eventually leave him open and that's why he didn't look left.

I'll go with the Giants at home. The Skins may have a good defense, but are ahead of only the Browns, Donks, Vikes and Texans with 10 sacks, and tied for last with TWO interceptions on the year.

Manning doesn't get sacked often, and although his top reciever Burress is hurting I look for him to find "well dressed" Armani Toomer for a couple of T.D.'s

I do have Brunell as my fantasy QB, so I'm hoping for a shootout.

I've got Brunell in my other league. He was my backup to Bulger, but now he's DA MAN. With Brunell the Skins are finaly 2 dimensional on offense. But the Giants will be playing with some intensity this week. Had Mara not kicked the bucket, I'd think they might be primed for a letdown after the miracle last week. But now I'm not sure what to expect from the G-Men.

I guess since I did pick the Skins as the NFC Super Bowl team, I have to pick them to win a big in division game.

Foreskin fan should be ashamed of themselves. Is it not right for a fan of the NFL in general to not prop a powerhouse? Stand tall Redshinfan and represent us peons of the NFC well in the Superbowl.

Redskins 28 Giants 17

Has anyone noticed that the Giants D is almost dead last in the NFL?

With that secondary im being nice about the score. Giant will play with emotion but, after 3 quarters look for Sean Taylor to decapitate plexiglass or LA to TA Eli!

Portis 2 td's Moss 1 D 1 (possibly 2-3)!

HTTR!

almost dead last?...oh yeah! san fran is the only team worse......didnt the skins play them recently? how did they do?

this one could be very ugly for the G men- a wake up call of sorts considering half of the giants games have been against bottom of the barrell pass D's.

btw- i pointed this out before salisbury did.....piggybacking bastard.

no D = no W for the giants.

wow- just read that the skins control the ball for 33 minutes a game. giants TOP per game? 26 minutes.

not good news for the giants. its not like that D is gonna score points for them. (knock on wood)

They had me at 17 nil and then i rooted against them. "BRING IT HARD!"

They played like a bunch of fraggy butthole lickers. I had a huge party today and I was the first one to lay into my team. FUMBLIA, FUMBLEROOSKY and FUMBLINA! Dumbasses gave the game away and didn't even try today. NO EMOTION. NO STAMINA. NO GAME.

RACK THE GIANTS FOR ASSFUKKING US TODAY!
