I lived to see Bags and Biggio in a World Series. That gives me the big grin as I NEVER thought I'd see the day.
Props to the Sox, too. That's a damn fine team.

Tivo'ing Garner calling Carl Everett a "cocksucker" and saying "fuck you, you fucking faggott" took the edge off the night with a good laugh.

5th inning, after Crede got hit by Lidge and was mouthing off on his way to first base. Carl Everett started yapping from the Sox dugout. Garner started yapping back. You can hear the Ump telling both of them to can it and just play baseall. You can't hear what is being said, but you can clearly read Garners lips saying. "Fuck you, you cocksucker." He then tells the Ump that Everett needs to shut the fuck up. he yaps some more and then yells "Fuck you, You fucking faggot". Classic moment. I wish I hadn't deleted the recording in disgust the second the game ended. I replayed that about 5 times after it happened.

^^ I caught that, too. I thought I saw Garner call him a "fat fuck" not a "fucking faggot." But maybe it was both.

Red Sox fan is laughing right now. It has only been 43 years for the 'stros. They still have another 43 to go to reach the pain of New England.
BTW....that Garner moment was classic. Jurassic Everett was screaming "Motherfucker " and Garner retorts with "Fuck you you fat fuck." I love it.
Gar should have Bob Kinght come over for chair tossing lessons. That stool toss was a 4.2
