Magloire had been critical of the Hornets ownership and their decision to go to OKC over KC and Vegas. Mason is a Oklahoma native and is more of a Byron Scott style player than Mags is. The Hornets fans in New Orleans are in an uproar about this as they think it is a sign that Shin intends to keep the Hornets in OKC.
