Freddie Mitchell must really suck if the Packers are letting Favre throw the burrito to a guy named Taco

Its not that he sucks-- he's okay... but the little bit of talent is not worth the major amount of mouth that comes with it.

It shouldn't have taken a story like this for you to realize how bad Freddy is.

I guess even the Packers don't have a use for a guy who runs poor routes, is not overly fast and shoots off his mouth.

If probably didn't help that Freddie introduced himself as "the 4th and 26 guy"

Yep, it was at that point that they realized Freddie NEEDS 26 yards to get open.

Its more time than anything. McNabb had a play last year where he scrambled away from the Cowboys rush, throw across his body 60 yards down field to Freddie on the fly. (freddie was caught just after he caught it   .)

The joke in the city was that it took Freddie 12 seconds to get open.

How do you figure, Mike? It doesn't suck for ChiefFan at all- Dude's NOT on our roster, so why the hell would we care?
OMG I can't believe that I'm going to say this, but Paul is correct!

I think what Mike was getting at was that the Chiefs STILL need a #2 reciever opposite Quittison.

KCP was stating ,in fact whether or not they need a #2 receiver, they passed on Freddie.

He's not on ANYONE'S team Paul...My statement was true, the Chiefs actually brought Freddie in to K.C. Of course he didn't stick....he doesn't stick anywhere, that's what this thread is about.

I was talking EMBARRASMENT for K.C. for being desperate enough to give him a call...like I said

Think it had anything to do with?
Fourth-and-26.

Image

It's time to begin the debate on whether that was the single greatest play in Eagles' history, that swing of Donovan McNabb's arm and that catch by Freddie Mitchell that converted a fourth-and-26 with 1 minute, 12 seconds left in the fourth quarter Sunday that did nothing less than save the Eagles' season.
I gotta believe it was payback time in a sick demented Packer way.

Believe it or not, Mike... He almost made the team. The team doc told Freddie to go get his knee scoped after he injured it in training camp this past summer. Instead, Freddie chose a more "holotropic" healing approach. Grandpa Dick got tired of waiting five weeks for a two-week injury to heal, so he cut his ass.

By all accounts, Freddie was having a good camp. Reportedly, he was a solid citizen (one of the few who wasn't arrested in River Falls, anyway) and well-liked by his teammates. The Chiefs even brought him in a couple of weeks ago for another look, but apparently he couldn't crack the vaunted # 2 Receiver triumverate of Dante Hall, Marc Boerigter, and Chris Horn because "he doesn't play special teams."

Still wouldn't surprise me to see him in Chiefs gear should another wideout go down....
