Since we don't have any chicken hawk fans in here,
Beat those piece of shit cocksuckers, and never forgit the Hero William Quantrill and his heroic deeds. His name shall always be spoken with the heroes of Missouri lore. May Lawrence burn once again Saturday, Burn Lawrence, Fucking Burn!

In the early morning of August 21, Quantrill attacked Lawrence with a force of 450 raiders. Though Senator Lane, a prime target of the raid, managed to escape through a cornfield in his nightshirt, Quantrill's Raiders killed between 140 and 190 men, dragging many from their homes to kill them before their families. When Quantrill rode out at 9 a.m., most of Lawrence's buildings had been burned, including all but two businesses; his raiders looted indiscriminately and also robbed the town's bank. The raid would become notorious in the North as one of the most vicious atrocities of the Civil War.

Quantrill’s actions remain controversial to this day. Some historians remember him as an opportunistic, bloodthirsty outlaw, while others continue to view him as a daring soldier and local folk hero. Something of this celebrity later rubbed off on several ex-Raiders—Jesse and Frank James, and Cole and Jim Younger—who went on in the late 1860s to apply Quantrill's hit-and-run tactics to bank and train robbery. The William Clarke Quantrill Society continues to research and celebrate his life and deeds. Quantrill’s raid on Lawrence figures prominently in Jane Smiley’s novel The All-True Travels and Adventures of Lidie Newton.

Good thing you said something, because I was about to post that picture of Andy Katzenmoyer planting Corby Jones into the Missouri till.

i'm totally stoked that the Big XII TV contract wizards will give me the ISU-aTm game instead of the Border War or Tech at Baylor which i think could be an interesting game to watch.....or even CU at KSu (in the Denver market no less!). is it true even the KC area doesn't get the KU-MU game?
speaking of the purple cats, what happened to KSUBigDog who used to post? did he ever make it over from scobode?

You don't really get the KU/MU rivalry do you? Not surprising, since you weren't born and bred here. You'd be like one of those PC KC Star fucks who call this the "Border Showdown" rather than what it really is.
You prolly also think it's a good idea not to call the Washington NFL team "Redskins".
War enjoy the fucking sig I'm gonna' lay on you for being so stupid as to take me up on the bet.

Hi Coach, If you had to say one nice thing about Missouri (and I know that is difficult to do), what would it be?
Don Fambrough: I've been thinking about that for years. And I haven't come up with one good thing yet. Every year we go over there and something happens. One year over Thanksgiving weekend we got caught in a terrible blizzard and no store was open to sell us long johns. So we asked Missouri officials for help and they said: "We hope you freeze to death."

I get the fact that your sorry assed excuse for a Division I program has had their ass handed to them two years straight by a program that hasn't done shit in 10 years.
So what exactly does the rivalry mean to the forklift driving community, Average Wagon?

Quantrill’s band began to splinter with the retreat, breaking into several smaller units. One such was led by his vicious lieutenant, William "Bloody Bill" Anderson, who wore a necklace of Yankee scalps. In 1865, now leading only a few dozen men, Quantrill staged a series of raids into Kentucky. On May 10, Quantrill was shot in a Union ambush and died from the wound on June 6 at the age of 27.

Nice take, 'del. Keep in mind, the Mizzou game is the closest KU will come to sniffing a bowl game this year. JHawkBTK aside, it's tough to work up a stiffy for such a sackless bunch whose annual rallying cry is "wait 'til basketball season!"

Nice spin move, Rome Jr. wannabe.
Is the odor of the midget's fromunda cheese starting to make you high? The whole fucking MU fan base is rabid over this game and, even in the back of your unoriginal, Rome sack-swinging pea-brain, you know it's your season highlight (or, 8 out of 11 times in the past 11 years, lowlight), so don't try to bullshit anyone.

Is that last pic of the squawk pole vault team or kayak team?
Props to the squawks for winning the only game on their schedule that means anything to them, as well likely their only conference victory of the season.
Nevertheless, I'm only here to take my medicine.

right. Now...

I think it's the pole vault team trying to take out the kayak team because the athletics department nixed the pole vault program due to Title IX, but retained the kayaking program.

About the same time KU's basketball program started running the team out on the floor wearing red. Probably five years ago.
Glad to see you two have finally started paying attention, though.

Serious question here. KU wins the game, then proceeds to tear down the goal posts and chuck them into a pond. Is this a tradition?

Ah......Dick, why would you think I didn't post before the game? I love it when little girls like you act tough.
Mucho,
The Hawks haven't had alot to celebrate on the football field lately, so when they beat one of their rivals it's time to celebrate. I'll be at the game this week and if the Hawks can muster some some offense they might be able to break a horrendous streak and they will definately tear them down again.
