So, do you get overtime for the extra hour you pulled tonight?
Back on topic, Brady over Brunell this week. The Bills are going to get rolled. And take Rudi over the A-Train. Thomas isn't even the starter in Dallas. If you can dump him and pick up Marion Barber, I'd do it. But either way, Rudi is your choice in that game. Any Bengals starter this week is a good play as they are going to demolish Green Bay.

I'm screwed this week-
Both my starting running backs are out (The edge is on a bye and Julius Jones is hurt), One of my starting wide recivers is on a bye (Harrison), My tight end is on a bye (Crumpler), both my kickers are out (Vanderjagt- bye, Akers- hurt).. so I'm foced to start this schlock of a lineup
QB- Culpepper (I have Plummer as well- if Lito is defintley out- I may put him in- but he is nursing a sore shoulder and if Philly starts hitting him- he may get knocked out of the game)
RB- Stephen Davis, Travis Henry (Picked him up coming off his suspension)
WR- Steve Smith, Derrick Mason, Az Hakim
TE- Erron Kinney
K- No one yet- I'll wait until just before game time to pick up a shit kicker this week
Def- Philly
And of course- I am playing the other #1 team in our league.. GRRR- UNWAR Bye Weeks!!!!

Re: FF questions
Agree on Brady over Brunell, but Thomas Jones at Detroit would be a tempting choice over that non TD scoring, under-achieving, supposed top 5 RB that I drafted and paid thru the fucking nose for. :xBSmack wrote:

Also disagree that Cincy is gonna' demolish GB...
Sin,
Farve owner.
ps; Marley, when scouting a FFL draft, an experienced, crafty owner takes into account bye weeks and doesn't allow themselves to get stuck with too many key players setting the pine all at once. Unless, of course, you're matching up against other complete FF morons and can afford to piss off a week.
In the JAFFL Vonnegut division, no such luxury exists.
I hate sigs. But I lost a stupid fucking bet because a KC Paul lookalike and his sorry ass team were inferior to the greatness that is the Pittsburg Steelers.

You'd sit Jones? This is a case where you start a hot RB no matter who the competition is and Detroit is playing without Rogers on the line.frodo_biguns wrote:No brainer Brunell and Jonhson.Th wrote:(QB)

Re: FF questions
Injuries killed my bench too. A bunch of my reserves I had set to fill in my spots are all injured (I.E- Issac Bruce was supposed to be in to fill in for Harrison this week)... But I have two strategies with regards to bye weeks- I either spread them out (which I tried to do did this year), or get them all at once- so I can dominate all other weeks and just lose the one week (Worked very well for me in the past)War Wagon wrote:Agree on Brady over Brunell, but Thomas Jones at Detroit would be a tempting choice over that non TD scoring, under-achieving, supposed top 5 RB that I drafted and paid thru the fucking nose for. :xBSmack wrote:

Re: FF questions
When the question was originaly posed, Th asked about Anothony Thomas. I see now that he has fast forwarded to the present time, so I will say also that Jones would likely be a better start over Johnson. But not by much. The Pack will get a mudhole stomped in them this week.War Wagon wrote:Agree on Brady over Brunell, but Thomas Jones at Detroit would be a tempting choice over that non TD scoring, under-achieving, supposed top 5 RB that I drafted and paid thru the fucking nose for. :xBSmack wrote:

Well Marley, injuries are certainly something you can't account for. Many a FFL league championship has been lost due to losing key players.
So far I've been lucky in that regard and I'd rather be lucky than good.

But maybe not Tiki Barber. :wink:BSmack wrote:...so I will say also that Jones would likely be a better start over Johnson.
And speaking of getting stuck with too many players on the bye, check out Shamu Crew's line-up. He's got Shaun Alexander and Josh Brown starting and I'm like wtf? Then I look at his bench and half his damn team is either Seattle or Indy players.
Unwar Bucmonkey getting a cheap win this week.

Re: FF questions
Yea, I saw the Shamu lineup. I'm just hoping that I can take care of business and get those smoke and mirror using bums in the rear view.War Wagon wrote:But maybe not Tiki Barber.

Actualy, the choice was between Tiki and Cadillac. Caddy's going up against the 9ers later today. Jones has gotten off for 60 total yards so far. I'd like to see some TDs....
Edit: OK< now I'm just puking. 190+ yards and he's sitting ON MY FUCKING BENCH????
I better win this fucking game.

Re: FF questions
Don't feel bad. I've got Favre puking up 4 INT's and being outscored by Culpepper who's out the freaking game. This while I've got Orton quietly having a nice day on my bench.BSmack wrote:

Ditto I better win this fucking game.
Oh, and Buc? Cheap, cheap, cheap! This one should go in the "uncontested" column. :P
Edit: FIVE motherfucking inteceptions! Get Farve outta' this game PLEASE!
