*Whew!* What a FUN GAME! Tailgating since 9 a.m., drinking Crown and Coke out of a 44 oz. styrofoam cup through a straw (how redneck of me) and pigging out on yummy food on a beautiful cool windy day made for an AWESOME TIME yesterday! Aside from freezing my butt off at the game (the stadium was sold out of sweatshirts, so apparently I wasn't the only one who didn't dress warm enough) the game was especially fun because we f'n won! GO GATORS! And I think their new uniforms are beast!!
Sorry Dawgs... you got your asses kicked again at Alltel!
Yes I know it's not a big deal for any of you but I just wanna RACK the SEC because the games are so damn exciting and fun!
P.S. - Nolesy, congrats on your win yesterday. The announcer kept updating us with the score during the game and when MD was kicking your asses, the whole stadium cheered so loud it sounded like we scored a touchdown! ;)

Props on the win also to you Pats. At Doak the same thing happens when they show the score of Fl. loosing.
Ive been around fans who bring transister radios to the game and switch over the channel to the gator game when they learn that Fl. is behind.
BTW, I took a sweatshirt to the game and was glad I did. definately had to go to it in the second half.

I realize the sub-qb had a horrid first half but he seemed to be doing better in the second and a pure rushing attack was not going to get it done. Richt was just too conservative in the second half to give GA a real shot at winning. How many times can you run the qb-draw on third-and-long?

KSU is history. KSU has no where near the legacy or tradition of UGA.
Terrible analogy.

True. Bad analogy.
K State is nothing like Georgia. K State has scheduled the occasional game outside of their immediate vicinity during our lifetime.

Hey, Patsy, thought you might be interested in this.
My son decided over the weekend what he wanted his Halloween costume to be: a Florida Gator football player in an SUV.
So I spent yesterday going to about a half dozen or so sporting goods stores until I found one that had a Gators jersey, and I bought it for him. Then I had to spray paint a cardboard box to make it look like an SUV.
Behind his back, based on the SUV part, I'm calling it the "Florida goes on NCAA probation" costume.

A 14-10 game with two inept offenses is exciting?

^^ agree!!
I love how the SEC claims superior defenses. Look at the offenses...fuckin terrible.
Kinda like the Pac 10 with defense.

Pac 10 can't play defense
SEC can't play offense
Big Ten is full of overrateds that beat up on each other
Big 12 has Texas and that's it
ACC isn't meeting expectations
Damn. Based on the collective of this board, nobody can really play any ball at all. Why do you guys even watch the games if you think everyone but your own sucks so much?

She watches one college football game all year. A field goal and a safety would soak the taco as long as the Gators come out on top.
Props on the win, chicka.

Well I guess I meant the actual games and rivalries are exciting. :?
Anyway, here's the downside of this rowdy weekend. Last year, another student died after the game too. :(
UF student killed in beating downtown
Five men were arrested Sunday in the beating death of a University of Florida student, an attack witnessed by numerous onlookers and recorded by a surveillance camera Saturday night as football fans partied a block away at The Jacksonville Landing.
Thomas Oliver Brown, 23, who had been at the football game between his school and rival University of Georgia, was cornered at the CSX building on Water Street at 10:40 p.m. Three men prevented his escape while two beat him so savagely he later died, police said.
