Ok, I wasn't expecting much from a Rob Zombie film, other than just really fucked up scences and LOTS of blood.

And though those two things were certainly present, the film was, above all, REALLY well done. The characters were absurdly creepy and every scene was extremely engaging. Rarely does a movie, or anything, have me literally sitting at the edge of my seat, but this one did.

I was surpirsed as well- but don't bother with the shit of a sequel he made...
