The Oakland Tribune reports an Oakland Raiders fan, known in the Black Hole as "Raiderman", was shot and killed early Sunday morning, Oct. 31, while watching television in his living room. The bullet that pierced the eye and killed 41-year old Larry Gamez was an errant shot from gunfire involving two groups outside his home, according to police officials.

After looking at his necklace, reminds me of Mathew Modines comment on the duality of man in "Full Metal Jacket"

Fuck that really does blow. I'm saddened to see senseless violence claim the life of an innocent bystander. Much love to the Gamez family.

That is very sad. What is also sad is that it wasn't the first time the home had been shot at. Maybe some of that money spent on Raider ducats should have been spent on better living conditions.
