Outplayed by two sophomore backups...
...and Tedford is supposed to be the QB guru?

No, I'm afraid he shattered the 50 yard barrier.
Ayoob - 10-26 for 88 yards, 0 TDs, 3 INTs

Great game...
As usual we should have won this game too...
Our first year qb, and second sting qb is not all that...
With 9 in the box... Marshawn Lynch had 192 yards on 25 carries...
When Longshore, Reed, and Riley come in next year... these mistakes will be a distant memory.
The Ducks were lucky to come out with a win today... and they know it!
Good luck the rest of the way...

Um.... our starting QB,Kellen Clemens, was 3rd in the NCAA in total offense before breaking his leg last game.
We were "lucky"?
We never trailed today, missed a chip shot field goal, had a punt blocked on our 1 yard line and failed to convert points out of 3 of the turnovers we forced.
It wouldn't have even been a game with Clemens.

Longshore was 9 for 13 for 113 yards when he broke his twig in the first game of the year!
You had 9 in the box against us today, in "your" own place!!!!
Marshawn had 192 yards today...
What does your team give up on an average per game rushing??? 122 yards???
What till our freshman get a yera under our belt and we play at home with a qb!
Like I said... we were at the 33 yard line... and made young mistakes...
If we didn't... you'd have been bitched slapped at home!

1st of all...Are you really claiming that our 1st time starter QB didn't make any "young mistakes"?
2nd of all...You got to the 33 yard line. Then, your next play was a sweep, which got simply blown up, by our D-line and Linebackers putting you 7 yards back...Where is the "young mistake" in that?
3rd of all, You would call a last second field goal a "bitch slapping"?
And here I thought Cal was a "smart-kid" school.

Congrats to Oregon, after an ugly game against USC they've gotten it together to gut out some nice wins. They could get themselves a BCS bowl.
Cal, especially with the talented-but-behind-Longshore-for-a-reason Ayoob playing, is just too green this year. Next year they will be very dangerous and could take the conference. Which unfortunately means we'll have to see more m2 posts than ever.

We could be the worst 8-1 (soon to be 10-1) team in the country...
we have sad sad special teams that almost gave the game away on Saturday..
our running attack is inconsistant at best
and with Clemons out for the rest of the season our QB situation is interesting (to put it mildly)
I love it!!!

So let me get this straight, it you wouldn't have made mistakes, you would've won the game? Did you really just say that?

Nice post... Danimal
It's nice to see a non Pac 10 fan... with some knowledge of the conference.
Good job... and hopefully your Huskers can get things turned around soon in the "North".
