Chiefs at Bills

HEY CHIEF FAN ...... we have a game on Sunday ..... you know that, right? Ready to talk about this game yet, or are you all still waisting time with raiduh fan? Im moving on, hopefully the rest of you will follow.
Bills opened @ 2 1/2 and that quickly jumped to 3. Chiefs never play well in Buffalo, and that concerns me. Looking back a couple weeks, we could say the same about Miami, and we took care of business there. Maybe thats something to draw from.
I look at this game as a litmus test. Chiefs should win this game. They are the better team. If they cant win this one, then how the hell should anyone expect them to ever win a game on the road? Look at the schedule. IF the Chiefs hope to piss a drop in the post season, THEY MUST WIN THIS GAME! Its time for the Chiefs to shit or get off the pot, and this is the game to make a statement.
Chiefs need to win by 14, or we should all start spending more time looking for Nyeman, and get some tips of what to do while on-line.

Yeah, but if KC is down by 3, with 5 seconds left in the game, will Vermeil kick the FG or go for it?
That's what's important here.
Actually Dave, I agree. This game, in a lot of ways, is a make or break for KC. Win it, especially convincingly, and they may be playoff-bound. Lose it and it's a 8-8 season, or a 9-7 season at best, imo.
I guess part of the reason that I see this being a pivotal game for the Chiefs is precisely
because of last week's big coaching gamble/emotional win. Can they capitalize on it or come out with their heads up their asses? The Miami game is a bit of a quirk, given the circumstances surrounding the timing of when that game was played. A lot will be determined about the character of this team, even if they win, from that perspective. I'd like to see them start like they did against Philly and
finish that way as well. We'll see.
Aside from that, the dude in my av. is due big-time for a kick return for a TD, making the Bills' coverage look silly in the process.
Fuck it. Two of them, this week.

I think it will be close. It's LJ's team now, he's going to have a big day.

The Chiefs can't afford to get down in this game. While the Bills run defense sucks their pass defense is pretty good. That could be because everyone is running the ball on them. LJ will have a monster day and Tony G will play a big part as well. The Chiefs O-Line must do a better job of protecting Green.
The Chiefs will definitely need to lock down McGahee and not give up any big plays to Moulds or Evans. I see the defense getting at least one if not two interceptions this week. Jerid Allen and the Chiefs defense will be putting pressure on Holcombe all day. The Chiefs special teams will need to step it up. That Mcgee guy for Buffalo ain't a joke. They must keep him under wraps.
The Bills just had their bye week. So they've had extra time to rest and prepare for this game. Doesn't matter though. The Chiefs ride the emotion of last weeks win and beat the Bills soundly.

You always look at the history of what teams have done when going into a city, so I can understand why the line is the way it is, but KC is just so much better than Buffalo. Not only though, we match up really well with them.
Our rushing attack vs their terrible Run D.
and their O is all on the ground while our D has been good at stoping much much better backs.
As I look this one over I can't see where Buffalo wins this game. The only way it happens is if our guys just don't show up and play at all, or if we cough the ball up a lot.
KC wins it and I'll give em 10 points.

I did'nt see this coming.
trINT looks horrible, Tynes picks a hellova time to suddenly forget how to kick and Torchfield gets burned twice.
Rack the KC Run defense and LJ's meaningless 130 some odd yards, but otherwise our playoff possibilities are now looking very shaky at best.

I'm not about to talk smack after not finding the time to hop on this thread before the game (midsemester is frigging brutal, especially when I've got 3 kids who don't speak English and another 10 with IEP's....).
My Bills are incredibly inconsistant, but they needed this game and outplayed KC (even if folks want to discount screwups from KC).
The fact remains that the Chiefs for some reason just do not fare well in Orchard Park. Guess that's fair, considering how poorly the Bills fare at Arrowhead...

The irony of course is the Chiefs D is much better than last season. Truman was over to watch the Chargers game and was convinced the offense had aged and that we would not see the performance we had over the past few seasons. Guess he was right.

While its not yet official, this loss basically ends any hope Chief fan had of reaching the post season.
Looking at the AFC, I gotta think its gonna take 11 wins to snag a wild card birth. No way do I see 6 more wins for the Chiefs with this schedule.
@ Hou
NE
Den
@ Dall
@ NYG
SD
Cinc
I can make an arguement on why the Chiefs could win any of those, however, I just do not think they will pull out enough to count.

Diehard as I am, I'll never give up hope until the final nail is pounded.
However, unless the O-line can start protecting better (and I don't see that happening) we're looking at a lost cause.
TrINT got hammered again today.
Pretty fucked up when you've got a back running at will on a beat up D and you're dropping back to pass...

11/13/05 at Buffalo Bills- W
11/20/05 at Houston Texans- W
11/27/05 New England Patriots- W

Oh no? How can you call yourself a Chefs fan and "not see this coming?" Newsflash, Mr Fan: Your team lays a fucking egg every time the week following a win against the Raiders. Look it up.

Yea, and they also lost in Florida for the last 6 years, until they pounded the Dolphins.
You can look at trends all you want, I'd rather look at the teams.
