Hmmmmm?...so losing depth at RB is a plus for you ey Paul. You certainly won't suck with LJ toting the pig, however, should he tweek an ankle or twist a knee, or run into Shawne Merriman....well you know where I'm going. Losing an all-pro, an inspriational leader, and a locker room stalwart may not be the plus you're looking for.

But hey, ya beat the Raiduhs

Uh Mike, have you seen the guy play? All I see is an aggressive rookie who plays himself out of position. So next time say Donnie Edwards or something more believable.

Pssst!

Shawne Merriman was the guy who ended Priest Holmes' season and maybe his career.

Actually the condition existed before the start of this season. Merriman might have put the final nail in the coffin but he was not the direct cause. Holmes already had some issues in training camp when he was having tingling feelings in his hands.

Sounds like this was a long time coming for Priest.

I know. I was just pointing out to DF the reason for Shawne Merriman's inclusion in Charger Mike's post.

Christ, does anybody follow a thread anymore?

Perhaps Merriman should not have been mentioned at all.

Seeing as it was Merriman's hit that finished Holmes, I'd say it was quite appropriate.

You've been duly woken and made aware.....anything I could add would be piling on...with that in mind! Yes Iv'e seen him play, and if all you've seen is an agressive rookie who plays himself out of position, then I question how much YOU'VE seen him play.

Is there a rookie who doesn't get burned? the fact that he's starting as a rookie and making a huge impact speaks for itself. Then again, what can you expect from the crackwagon.

A 28-24 raping in your own house.

Point noted on the Merriman reference, but from what I've watched I'm not impressed.
