Oh Christ, don't EVEN get me started on that Carolina game tonight--I was there for the whole thing, from the beginning to the bloody bitter end when Ray Whitney had that goal called back, and it was about nine different kinds of painful. Not even the Boulerice-Boulton fight, though entertaining, made me feel any better. The game was that bad.

But on the other hand, 12-3-1 still does look pretty good.

Canes can't win 'em all...can't get your doors blown off either though.

Throw in the Sens smoking the Sabres and the Rangers thumping the Pens...Jagr with a trick.

Did you at least win the fight?

The fight was actually a draw. Jesse was getting the upper hand, but Boulton got the single-leg takedown at the end.

And in the sequel Sunday Night Beatings....

Kings 8
Blow Jackets 2

How Gallant and MacLean still have jobs boggles the mind. They don't look any better than when they were an expansion team 5 seasons ago.

I don't know how much Nash will help but they aren't nearly the same team without him. They also traded Sanderson to Phoenix so there's two guys who can get you 30-40 goals out the lineup right away. Denis just hasn't lived up to being this team's franchise goalie. Other than being durable, he's not a guy I'd see taking this club into the playoffs. I like Gallant, being an ex-Wing, but he's not in a good position right now with a bad goalie and no offense.

Bertuzzi gets a trick and the Canucks beat the Wings a second time this year. I'm still not convinced that Vancouver can win a cup with Cloutier...I hate losing to an inferior goalie. Both of Manny's losses (12-2-0) have been to the Canucks.
