Any of you Husker fans going to this one? I PMed King Crimson a while back and he thought he might be down for some sort of troll stop. Post here if you're going and want to organize some kind of tailgate/pregame festivities...

Well my friend, quite frankly, from speaking to many of my co-Shucker fans that have made the trip in the past, it would seem as if it would be likened to a trip into Beiruit Lebenon in the mid 80's.
Keyed cars, vulgar language towards mothers, urine bombs, flat tires...
Other than that. yeah. I'm on board.
Really, lots of people I've talked to said they'd rather not prop the economy of Boulder at the expense of higher auto insurance.
A Nebraska plate = disaster.
Sad really.
Headin' to San Lucas Cabo Mexico the following week....why do I feel safer going there than Boulder Colorado on game day?
Other than that mike, I'd love to tailgate with ya...say in Lincoln next November.

Maybe all the crap would be worth it if Neb had a real chance to win or if I could stick around a while to ski, party, and hang with an old girlfriend of mine but neither is realistic right now so won't be there either. Hope you have a great time though Mike.
Who knows, maybe Neb will surprise me and the coaches will show they can do something other than shmooze high schoolers. But probably not.

Husker, I was a CU season ticket holder for 15 years- and since I could afford a $1000 per seat per season donation to the Buff Club/Slush Fund, my upgraded seats were across the aisle from the visitor's section and I can HONESTLY say in all that time, I never witnessed any visiting fans being treated badly at the staduim, in the stands, in the concessions lines, in the restrooms, or anywhere else on campus.

Well, I am off to CO early in the AM. Have a fun holiday everybody. My mom doesn't have internet, so don't pile on my ass if I'm not in here immediately to take my lumps if CU chokes. On the bright side, if CU wins, all you husker fans won't have to see me gloat for at least a couple days. I will be back Sunday afternoon to either sack up or rub it in.
KC, you have my #, so if you do end up getting back in town by the time the game is over, give me a ring.
Happy turkey eating day to everyone. I think i've left you guys with the CU fight song for the past few years, so i wouldn't want to disappoint any of my adoring fans...
Fight CU down the field
CU must win
Fight, fight for victory
CU knows no defeat
We'll roll up a mighty score
Never give in
Shoulder to shoulder we will
fight, fight, FIGHT, FIGHT FIGHT!
CU 28 unl 17

That game made me proud to be a husker fan again....unrack the unrulie fans @ Colorado. I heard after they kicked out that whole section, they went outside and caused more shit, and they had to call in the swat team.
My neighbor also heard that they are "rioting" on the hill.
Ya Cornhusker, you did have something to worry about by going to that shithole of a stadium.

bwhahahaha!!!! You really expected CU Fan to NOT misbehave? Hell, I'm sure riots were already starting when it was just 7-0!
I'm not a fan of either team, but I love it when the Buffs lose.
