My Sig Please

But first some observations.
Things I liked....
>Henne played well in a big game. I have no issue with him on the loss. Overall he made good decisions...not so much on th final play, but that was hardly the reason for the loss. I look forward to his 3rd year as a starter.
>Breaston showed up. He was a factor at wr, a glimpse into next year I hope.
>Woodly played well, despite an injury.
Things I didn't like...
>First down play calling in the first half. Too gimmicky and low percentage. Led to too many 2nd and 3rd and longs.
>Gutless offensive play-calling in the 4th quarter. Instead of playing to wrap the game up, they call a qb draw on 3rd and 5 inside the 10 yard line. Now I don't know if he thought he was calling the play for Vince Young, Marcus Vick, or T. Smith, but Henne is not what you might call mobile. They played for the fg, and the 9 point lead when a td puts them up 13 or 14. Then the last time they had the ball he goes ultra conservative, clock management road instead of sticking to the very effective short/medium range passing game that was very effective most of the game. Has UM ever won a game where they pooch punted in the 4th quarter(As I typed this the '98 Rose Bowl came to mind)?
>Pussified defensive strategy down the stretch. The D was sharp in the 2nd, 3rd, and first 7 mins. of the 4th quarters. Then Hermann goes with the bend but don't break, but please score after burning up several minutes defense. Instead the Buckeyes rip downfield and score easily in about 5 plays, and don't get me started on that last drive.
>As in most big games, Lloyd left too many points on the field. I would love to see the results of the Wisconsin, Minnie, OSU games if he let his players play to win the games instead of playing not to lose. Lloyd does a wonderful job of recruiting, his coaches do a fine job of preparing the players. But too many times on Saturday's he takes the critical moments out of the players hands and turns the game into a chess-match. We've got the horses, let them run. I really thought he was going to be aggressive when he let Henne sneak for the first down in the 4th quarter. This eventually led to the pussified fg attempt, and we leave more points on the field.
Anyway I will take my sig now and wear it for whatever we decided. I don't think we did but whatever, through the bowl season anyway(not much posting through the winter/spring months anyhow).
Props OSU. Props OSU guys on this board. And now to utter the phrase made famous during the all too short, gone too soon Cooper era...."we'll get 'em next year"
