3peat?

So can the 'Canes do it? To tell you the truth I'm worried. Gerber is looking like a Sens killler now. I think because of him it will be close.

Also interested in what Varada will do with his extra ice-time due to the Smoke injury. His whinning for more shifts will look pretty lame if he lays an egg...look for a move soon with him heading out.

Also I belive there was a promised re-match for McGrattan vs Boulerice

Sens 4, Canes 3

You were close--Sens 5 Canes 3.

I think it would have been a 3rd win for the 'Canes if they weren't so banged up and had third-and-fourth liners playing the top two lines.

But I won't complain, because it was a pretty damn good game despite the score.

Aww com'on Acid...that last goal was scored empty net with 1 second left..

I didn't get to see all the game, new born in the house, but from what I saw the 'canes were always skating and pressing and Gerber was always there...

Ironically the two players I highlited in another thread didn't play...

For those that don't know, Chris Niel lost his mother yesterday to a car accident...he was told by Fisher and Mucklar during the pre-game skate.

Havlat has a hamstring injury...

T&P for Chris and his family...

What? Did they cancel their next game?

Goal's a goal, dude. It stung, but I'm not going to cry about it.

Really? I'd heard that Neil was told when the team got back to their hotel after morning skate.

In any case--the 'Canes did a very classy thing that night and asked the crowd to observe a moment of silence for the Neil family. Dunno if they mentioned that (or showed it) on the Sens telecast or not--and I apologize for the extreme shittiness of our cheerleader anthem singer and her mangling of "O Canada". A lot of us down here aren't real thrilled with her either.

I think you are right, it was after the skate...

As for the moment of silence, I was unaware...the pre-game stuff is not aired anymore. Nice to hear...though
