We dont need another fucking puppet-we need a disciplinarian.
We need a fucking coach who can be a leader and bring some fire to this damn team.

Shell was solid but like Callahan and bugel,and now Norv,lost his team in his final year. Besides Art Shells departure from the Raiders was a bitter one.

...I've gotta give Daniel Snydah prop's, at least he had the cashews' to blow Turner out mid-season after an unacceptable loss. I gotta think Owl would save some major face if he pulled the trigger this week.

Somebody's gotta send the message that there will be accountability for lack of performance.
No sense in having Norv twist in the wind the rest of the season.
Let Randy Moss become player/coach for a few weeks.
Hell, just do SOMETHING.

If you're going to jettison Norv already, put Jim Colletto or Rob Ryan in as interim coach.
Fred B. would be better than Shell.

I think he'd get more out of the team than Turner or Shell, but somehow I think you'd be more likely to see one of the other two promoted.
Who was the last reciever's coach to get a head coaching job?

I won't pretend to understand the friction between Al and Art, but I gotta admit, I was pissed that Big Art wasn't given any run by the Chiefs when Marty resigned back in '98. Cat was verypopular here, and the O-Line loved him....
Norv?! Bill freaking Callahan?! Hell the Raiders could do worse. If not Big Art, then Freddie B. Screw the "interim" tag.

I think Freddie B would be someone the players would love to be behind because he was one of them and he's been around the system for a while. He's Al's guy and no matter what head coach has come and gone Freddie has been a staple on every coaching staff. That's why he would not fit. He'd be another Art Shell (puppet) taking orders from Al and when Al's system doesn't work he doesn't fire himself. :?
