Just thought we could have a thread about hockey leagues around the world.

Japan Ice Hockey Federation. Apparently hockey was picking up a bit in Japan before/after the Nagano Olympics. However, according to a friend it's gone back to a marginal state now. I have several Japanese friends here in Montreal who are on a working-holiday visa and were looking forward to see some NHL action. Too bad it won't happen, unless...

HC Nikko Bucks. The only officially pro team in the league, the other teams listed here are company teams apparently. Pro players play on every team though.
