Just got back from the Spartan Clash

Weather sucked. Wind at 30mph. Temp. = 24. Palace of Auburn Hills undergoing facelift construction. Yet about 80% full. (Holds 22,000+ for basketball)

We sat on one end behind a basket, 20 rows up in the Club level. Couldn't believe the Hot Asses walking around this place, men. Unreal. :gyjo: (Of course, it IS a Mi. State game, so....)

Beer was $7 - fucking .50 a pop. That sucked. But oh well, the pint of wiskey on the drive down was workin fine, so. Least it was Bud Light.

Laughed at "Basketball Sweat Wiper Upper Guy" a few hundred times.

During times out; the camera dudes would fan watch. Some chick held a "Go State" sign, but then turned it over to read "FIRE MILLEN!" - kinda like this kid --
Image
The whole fuckin place roared.

Then during another time out, Steve Mariucci had his mug shown on the big screen. HUGE standing ovation. Couldn't believe it, either. He was chillin in a suite with 15 others. Wife too. She's fairly hot, men.

There was only 20 times that half the crowd went into the "Fire -- Millen!" ...(clap-clap-clap-clap-clap)... "FIRE MILLEN" !!! chant. It was hilarious!
Like firing Millen would do SHIT for the dumbass Lions diehards!
It wouldn't matter if they hired Brian Bilik or Tony Dungy; This fucking team's going nowhere with the Fords owning them.

Any-who; some fat assed ni_&&er ref was calling a Jr. High game, I swear. The dude whistled State 5 to 1 on calls. It was just horrid. Izzo just blasted the guy as the half ended, while they walked off. I'm pretty sure that nog won't be workin a "Clash" anytime in this millenium. What a joke.

The game was ho-hum. Shocker's tried to "Shock" us in the first 10:00, mostly because of their 10 made free throws, and State having a letdown after beating BC a few days ago. Miller and Cousineau (I think) can play on our squad anyday. After that, Witch St. was done. 20+ pt. something lead for State when we all staggered out to the bar up in Clarkston, for some fried shrimp and onion rings, and 10 more beers.

Outstanding Saturday night, bro's. Hope you had as much fun.

Late.

Ya know. These boards were actually a P_alce where half wits could join in and have a little fun.

Problem is, there obviously isn't even any of Them left here.

Carry on Corky.

Typical racist Babs.

You have been, and you always will be, fucking trash.

I'm sure MSU is proud of having a "fan" such as yourself represent them.

the problem with ppl like killian is that they lack vision; they can't see the world from a bigot's perspective. if you could, you'd understand that their worthlessness is always someone else's fault. they didn't get into school b/c only minorities get scholarships; or their son was caught from basketball b/c
some fat assed ni_&&er
tried out, too; or they were passed over for promotion simply for having a dick. i don't know what comes first: the bigotry (chicken) or failing at life (egg).

Babs, do you ever wonder why anyone with a hint of optimism and/or upward mobility left Flint long ago while people like you stayed?

Why the fuck would we care about a fucking MSU game?

He said he used to be a MichiganFan a while back...he's not even a true SpartanFan. I'll at least give a Sparty some props for being a fan from the beginning but not when they switched sides. He's the only one I've ever heard of switching from the winning side to the Spartan side.

When the hell did he say this?

A few of my friends did, after they started going to MSU. They grew up UofM fans but switched.

He said that a while back when he explained why he didn't like Michigan. It was something about the fans that made him switch sides.

Growing up in Ann Arbor I have a lot of friends who did that. Its hard not to be a Michigan fan growing up in the shadows of the Big House, but if you end up going to Michigan State that's totally acceptable. I fault no man for choosing to be a Sparty fan once they actually go there. I don't know why you'd ever go there though, that's kind of a fault.

I mean seriously, the campus is ugly, the academics are sub-par at best, the town is dirty and the traffic sucks. I guess if you can't get into Western Michigan or Eastern Michigan its a nice alternative.

Go Blue.

Don't confuse yourself by thinking arrogant people don't come off as obnoxious.

Arrogance in its purest form is downright obnoxious to anyone...even the arrogant. If you want to argue its admirable traits, go right ahead, but I don't see you convincing too many people on that one.

I don't need to spend every living moment crapping on State like some MichiganFans would. As long as the Wolverines' teams are doing better than the Spartans'...I can care less about the campus/coeds/academics smack. I'll get into the coach conversations and who is better than who arguments but I stay out of the actual school conversation since I didn't attend either school. I've got a couple relatives and my sister attended Michigan but that doesn't validate me as a fan. Michigan was kind of the school I pointed towards when I was younger and they've been my team my whole life.

There was a guy I used to work with who'd always say, "well, what do I know...I only went to Michigan". Turns out, it was UM-Flint and he didn't get a degree.

i've been lucky with my friends who've gone to michigan. none come immediately to mind who use "michigan" as some sort of badge.
