Anyone listen to Rivals Radio?

Post by Adelpiero »

anyone?

my views of the show:(have had Sirius radio for 2 weeks)

1.How many times can we ask about Florida,Fla st.,LSU,Georgia and their recruiting a day? For christs sake, how about listening to the other 30 callers who have asked the same fucking questions :meds:

2. Hosts have no clue when the Bruthas call in to stir the pot. The guy pretty much tried to make Paterno into a racist, without saying it. It went way above their heads, should of been a ok, and next caller call. Instead they fed his agenda, by attacking Former Penn St QB.(3 of these calls in past week n half)

3. Are 3/4 of the callers truckers, or rednecks who work 3rd shift at Wal Mart??

4. Could be a very good show about College recruiting and college football chat. But please limit the number of calls for teams. We don't need 40 calls from Gator fan, how about a call from Gamecock fan? Possibly Cyclone fan, etc.... Your board op can control the calls, tel lLSU fan to call back 2morrow after the first 25 calls!

The first 120 days it was on the air it was pretty good. It has become shit since and even worse since the time slot change.

It's nothing more than a deep south football sermon mouth piece at this point. If it was full time as an actual SIRIUS station and paid attention to teams other than Georgia, LSU, and Florida State it might have had a chance. The only reason they even get any air time in my vehicle is because 1) I am constantly on the road and 2) I can't take listening to Colin "I hate Oklahoma" Cowherd's bull shit.

i listened to Cowherd a couple times when i was out with the flu a couple-three times last month (after hearing all the endless promos) and thought it sucked. and not even of the variety of teh Denver local guys whose sucking i can enjoy in a perverse way.

i know some people like CC, but it's just kind of smarmy ankle biting as near a i can tell....without actually having enough substance to be either an ironic truth or clever sarcasm.

and speaking of del piero's #3, i thought that was GM On-Star Commercials:

"haylp, I lawst my keeez and thar's a yoo-eff-Oh triyin' to steel my baybee and the wallmarts iz awn fahre."

On_Star soothing voice: we'll be there in a minute.....
