What's your Christmas Day menu?

Post by Mikey »

Here's our probable menu:

Breakfast
Toasted bagels (the "everything" kind) with cream cheese, lox, onions optional
Fried eggs, over easy
bacon
cantaloupe, honeydew melon, bananas, strawberries, or some other fruit combination
Double chocolate muffins

coffee
yerba mate
bloody mary
orange juice

Dinner (mid-afternoon)
Rib eye roast
Caesar salad with homemade dressing and homemade sourdough/garlic croutons
Roasted rosemary red potatoes
French green beans parboiled and then tossed with EVOO, garlic and toasted pine nuts.
Something rich and chocolate for dessert

Vodka martinis while cooking
A nice Cali red to go with dinner
Bailey's Irish Cream for Mrs. Mikey to go with dessert
coffee

Rack that breakfast Mikey!

Add some potato latkas and we'll make it a nice Hanukah celabration.
