Was watching NFL Primetime and they showed Doug Flutie converting the first drop kick in the league in 64 years!

Reminded me of the scene in Longest Yard....."Dropkick? How much is that worth?"

Listening to those fags on ESPN you'd have thought Flutie would have single handidly run a kick back without blockers or something.

Drop kick, big fucking deal.

Get the fuck off of my TV little man and go away.

Wasn't he playing in the NFL the last time this happened?

Fucking ESPN will find any reason to fondle and lap the patriot ballsack.

A dropkick?

:meds:

Shut the fuck up, you gaping worthless cunts.

RACK Whomever beats the Patriots and shuts ESPN's collective dicksuckers up.

Why is it that whenever a Pats thread gets any run, you come in and go Tasmanian Radah?

I used to be like that. Like when the Redskins were the team to beat.

Cowboys... aw shit, man...nothing got me fired up more when they were at there best. (twice)

I'll just tuck it away as a compliment.

Thanks!

I just wondered what the fucking point was. It didn't help them win the game. It was a just a stupid fuckin' thing to do...

It was just enjoyable to watch. Isn't being a spectator about joy?

Gets it. ^

As a fan, I was hoping for a 2 pt conversion on that play. I wanted the win. And if you saw that game, or was there, you know that's what Pat-Fan was hoping for.

Cassel will be okay, but if you ask me, Flutie would have led that 2nd/ 3rd team offense to a victory. Just not sure if that was in the script.

Regardless, the Pats got to rest some tired & banged up starters which is what I think Belichick intended to do.

Stillers.... Jags.... I don't think it matters.

bring it.

sure it does.

warm weather team coming up to play in your 'crib....QB that hasn't played in about 6 weeks.

vs. cold weather team that can "out physical" just about any other NFL Team...including yours.

"Drop Kick"---->HA! ~merely a Ruse for...let's not WIN and fuck up "OUR Seeding."

So, do you think it was a slap in the face to the Dolphins?

Apparantly Skip Bayless did.
I believe he gets a paycheck from ESPN.

My take: No way Belichick does that without Flutie begging for the chance at some point doing it. I've never seen Bill Belichick so relaxed during a game.

Bottom line:
The Starters got their rest.

Precisely.

The Patirots want no part of Pittsburgh right now, and tanking your last game is exactly the wrong way to head into the playoffs.
