btw, did anyone catch the on field interviews right before the 'Bama/TTech game? Jeanne Zelasko (damn, what a fuck THAT would be) threw it over to Chris Rix for an interview w/Shula on the sideline.
One quick question by Rix, then he threw it back to the studio... whereupon it was intercepted.

I figured he'd at least attempt an NFL career, probably as a strong safety. Maybe he'll luck out and find a permanent gig with the reporting.

I wish nothing but the best for Rix. Our coaching staff wasted his talent. W/ a good offensive coach his stats would have been off the charts.

at a family holiday gathering we had the 2000 Orange Bowl DVD on....and there are actually quite a few shots of Rix standing on the sidelines. I found that sort of interesting at the time....why i'm not really that sure. may have to do with reaching the point of family small talk fatigue and tired of whatever variety of snack mix was there and no liquor.
