It is kind of refreshing to have a band completely unpredictable and living the rock and roll life style. You appreciate the little music you get from them even more when you expect one of them wind up dead at any time.

They are one hell of band though....

I saw them at Coachella back in 2003,and they were outstanding. Saw them 3 months later sans Doherty,and it was painful to watch. the crowd was unforgiving,mocking them "wheres the REAL singer at"? No applause after each song except for a few people.

Nice to see a band acting like a real rock band,but it sucks because these guys rock. And the days of the Libertines is done.

Hopefully he can stay alive to put out an album with Babyshambles... it would be interesting to see if it was good or not.

I saw them in Toronto this past november without Doherty and they were still pretty good, but you good tell they lacked that "unpredictableness" that made their albums so good.... eventhough they were studio albums, they were very unpredictable and volitile.
