...I can't see the Giants going too far here with Eli under playoff pressure. The kid had a good year, but looks like a "deer in the head lights" candidate from here on ( one and out ).

True, sometimes the Giants are one back-footed lob away from disaster, but this one isn't on Eli, he'll have to be good but not great.
This one is on the defense. 27th ranked defense against the pass coming in against the leagues best receiver.
So far the Panthers are doing a good job against the zone the Giants are playing to minimize the mismatches at w/o. These effective runs early are going to tighten up the D and get some man to man.
And great......another LB down.

Perfectly executed by the Carolina offense.

Fox is a pussy.. you've been throwing on them all game- 2 & 18- so you run the ball twice, plan to punt, stop them and go into the locker room. Pussy

Of course- bad punt, hits a Giant- and now Carolina is on the 15. Lucky bastards.

g-men looking good, al.

btw- the ball was coming out, but it was a result of the defender smacking goings in the head with his helmet. oh well.

Is it just me, or is the tackling in the NFL horrible anymore?

What other playoff defense is suspect?

...I think we can safely say, the Gnats tackling is indeed horrible. If you have to "rely on Eli" to bring you back.....well you're screwed!
...war all the guys who took Tiki..

They haven't hit 100 yards in offense today! Talk about teams that don't deserve their playoff birth.

worst game ever
Total domination by Carolina with a totally uninspred effort from th No Yards football Giants. Carolina executed a great game plan and exploited a patch work D.
A disappointing end to an otherwise great season. A roller coaster ride all year with great games......but like many roller coaster rides, it ends with people throwing up all over themselves.
Some O-line help next year would be nice.

It looks like Burress still knows how to disappear in the big game.
And Eli needs some playoff experiance.
Unlike Brees, he's likely to get some.

funny they mention about him always disappearing in playoffs, and he's falling, tripping, and hiding all day.
with his size and speed, he should of been open all day. And shockey acting like a tard on the field, hey dickhead, block someone on running plays, and might get the ball more.

First team shutout at home in the playoffs since Tampa Bay lost 9-0 to the Rams in 1980!
