Caught this flick over the weekend. I believe Tarantino was one of the producers.

Lots of tits and ass in the beginning. In fact, it kinda had that Van Wilder/American Pie feel to it. For a while, I was wondering if I was in the right cinema. Once the surgery scene hits, shit just gets totally fucked up. But the plot is pretty decent for a horror film. The violence is some of the sickest shit I've seen. I'm surprised a lot of theaters would even show this film given that the potential for vomit clean-up is high.

After viewing, I'm not so sure about that upcoming vacation to Slovakia. Rusty? Audrey?

From a violence standpoint, it was probably the sickest movie I've ever seen. I don't normally ever do this, but I had to turn away when he cut that Asian chick's eyeball out of her socket. That was just awful. I'll Netflix this one, burn copies, and send them to everyone in my family come Christmas time.

Finally saw this. It was okay, if not disturbing.

Watch the DVD extras. The making of videos are pretty funny actually with the germaphobic director Roth rushing to the bathroom to wash his hands when he finds out one of his extras has a cold. Then Roth talks about how disgusting European toilets are what with their design to have hardly any water in them when you go. Lots of joking around on the set, which was interesting given the morbid nature of the movie.

It was a decent flick... I love horror films and the gore/violence in this was really well done. I was okay with everything except when he cut the guy's achilles tendon and they showed the guy trying to walk on it. ::shudder::
