What outcomes do you want this weekend?

As fans we have none of the money or glory but we can approach the game as we see fit in its appreciation.

For example, we can and do look ahead during the season or even months beforehand and prognosticate. Coaches and players claim they can't do that...

In addition, we can shout from the rooftops the most subjective notions with impugnity. And never be wrong about it anyway. To that end:

Who do you want to win this weekend? Obviously BSmack wants the Steelers, Rushville the Colts, DallasFanatic the 'Skins...errrrr I mean G.O. is pulling for the Burgundy and Gold.

So in the interest of having ALL the remaining games be interesting for you, the fan, in pure subjective mode...?

Well for me:

'Skins vs. 'Hawks-------> 'Skins, obviously

Bears vs. Panthers------> Bears, cause the 'Skins already beat them once. The Panthers look like the team to beat right now.

Pats vs. Donks--------> Pats! May they reign supreme in the AFC the rest of the postseason... thanks for last year.

Steelers vs. Colts------> Steelers. I'm pretty much sick of hearing about the Colts and if I don't have to anymore after this weekend except as the occasional afterthought, great. This is in no way a dig at ColtFan on this here board, they rank as among the better posters as a group.

My subjective $.02. What's yours?

HAwks-Skins----- Hawks. I think they have the advantage facing a dinged up Skins offense, coming off a bye- playing at home. 20-13

Bears-Panthers---- Bears. I think that D is going to do enough to limit the Panther's O and Jones will run, run, run.... 13-10

Colts-Steelers------ Colts. Pitt will blitz to try and pressure Manning- they will run alot to help, or dump off alot. Manning will read the blitzes and make Pitt pay. Colts D does a good job shutting down Parker... 27-17

Broncos-Pats------ Broncos. NE got smacked in the mouth that first half of the Jax game and I think Denver will do the same. Difference is- Denver actually has the ability to put up points on the board. Brady will try to carry the team- but playing on the road will get to be too much.
17-14

The Bears are a team I'm reasonably pleased to root for.

I'll be rooting for 'the league' to have something blow up in it's face in regard to it's blatant 'officiating sins' of this, and seasons past.

Only a matter of time.

Well, that's cool Marley, if you wanna do the traditional "call your shot" type of thing. But I was looking more for who you want to win. In that case you'd say the 'Hawks cuz the 'Skins are your mortal enemy...

Well- that is also who I want win b/c I took them in my pools and players from each in both my fantasy things. :D

And actually- the Skins are the team I hate least in the East. The Giants & The Cowboys are by far worse.

Skins vs. Hags: I want the skins to win becuase I want that fraudulent Seahag squad with their miserably weak schedule exposed. I also want Shaun Alexander's single season TD record expunged from the books, or at least to have an asterisk beside it. If the skins shut down SA, that will further my sinister plans.

As well, I've always not disliked Gibbs intensely , and since he's now a member of the NASCAR heirarchy with a CUP championship under his belt, I almost, kinda' sorta' ...ahem....like him. As much as an AFC guy can like an NFC guy, that is. Old slights die hard. I'm still pissed about SuperBowl I, fer chrissakes, even though they didn't call it a SB at the time.

Pat's vs. Donks: I'm so sick of listening to smug ass Pat's fan dynasty crap, as much as I hate Dungver during the regular season...Go Donks! Oh, and Brady and his dumbass Visa commercials can go EAD.

Panthers vs. Bears: I'm apathetic on this one. If pressed, I guess I'll go with Carolina 'cause Steve Smith prolly has more potential to score me FF points than the Chicago's defense does. Maybe.

Pit vs. Indy: Gotta' go with Indy. After watching Pit swaggering around swinging their dicks in Bengal faces yesterday, they need to eat some humble pie. Karma's a bitch, too. Watch out Ben. I don't need to see Cowher spitting on any trophies, either.

Indy is like way due, anyways. My pick to take it all, get it out of their system, and return to being the rest of the AFC's bitch. Eventually.

I despise dome team's, but I'm making an exception in this case.

This year only, the Colts had best take advantage of it.

vel, shame on you for trying to get someone, anyone...to post a take on who they want to win (and perhaps why)...

As evidenced so far, you need to lower expectations.

Sorry for the FTFY, but I pretty much always call it like I see.
