since it didnt work earlier this week, the refs are trying a bit harder to throw the game. no surprise.

I mean, even I can see that Va Tech has matchup problems down low vs. Williams and Randolph, but SHIT! Every touch foul on JJ, and Ewing as well as the big guys down near the basket; is called, while when Tech brings the ball upcourt, it handchecking city by a variety of Dook defenders.
What's with that?!

I mean, Tech has some talent. They're even shorter than the duke line, though. That's pretty small.
But when the refs just ATTACKED the poor bastards right out of the gate, nobody can come back from that shit. 30+ more foul shots in ONE half of basketball!?

Don't commit fouls and they won't go to the line. After having had the "pleasure" of watching Greenberg teams first hand for 7 years it was no surprise. There were a couple of questionable calls, but for the most part the refs got it right. Williams was getting mugged when he was pulling down offensive boards.
I was surprised it took Seth so long to get run. Good riddance.
