Dude is a freak. Moss, Owens and Harrison be damned! Smith is 5'9" and does what he does.
I like his style and I'll ride his jock for a while.

As a pure pass catching receiver, he's very good but it's what he does with the ball is what makes him great. I'm amazed at his ability to catch the deep ball for being only 5-9.

He's more like 5'8" and yes, he is the best, right now.
(dude's still playing)

I'd take this guy... if he had someone who could get him the ball.

Lloyd makes some amazing catches... but he's too inconsistent.
I'd trade him for one of your big 3 in a sec.

I'd make that trade in a millisecond...maybe I'd hold out for more on Roy but the other two you can have for Lloyd alone. Rogers is an idiot and Mike Williams just doesn't care...you can have 'em. Roy is going to be really good if he ever learns how to catch the passes he's supposed to.

agreed, but i think they are all expendable right now, especially roy, who would get the highest value in return. CR isn't anything special and like you said, mike williams just doesn't give a shit. all three could flourish outside of detroit, but given the current situation they are in right now, whatever.

Smith is damn good. He was looked over many times in his career, but obviously he's money.

There is no doubting Smith's talent. He is easily top 5. However he was open a few times simply because the Bear's secondary couldn't keep their feet under them.

I would say right now, he is the best WR in football. TO doesnt have a team, Moss has become injury prone and Marvin has a hard time getting open if he isnt the first option.
BTW, nice one Fu.

He will be in the future. But for now he still drops a pass or two now and then that he shouldn't.

Holt is easily one of top WR in the game.

Moss still put up 1700+ in two injury filled years.
Moss is still the man and TO is right behind him (you know he'll be somewhere) but there isn't too much separation these days when you bring Steve, Chad, Torry and Marvin into the comparison.

Yep, but what about that one time he went up and ripped the ball out of Tillman's hands and came up with the long reception, even though Tillman had better position? That should have been all you needed to see.
I'd suggest that the Bears secondary couldn't keep their feet under them because they were too busy pissing down their leg
knowing that they were trying to cover him.

Every time I think RJ has exhausted his extensive repertoire of homosmack, dude just finds more creative ways to add to the inventory.

Torry Holt. He missed two games, had Ryan Fitzpatrick and Jamie Martin throwing to him for half the season. played 8 games with a torn knee ligament, and still caught 102 passes. Gamer.

I'm not going to put him in the Moss,T.O,Harrison category just yet,,,but Larry Fitzgerald has looked downright scary when I've seen Cardinal games. Which only means the Tards will eventually trade him away or he'll be lowballed and he'll sign elsewhere.

i'd put Fitzgerald right under the other guys, not far behind!
the kid is a stud, he goes up and gets the ball. 1 on 3, and he comes up with the ball!
what he did at pitt was remarkable. he was triple teamed, and he would get his 100 and 1td+ a game! Against Vtech,Miami,BC, etc
give him couple more years, and a Oline and QB, and he could easily be one of top, if not top WR in game!

TO and Moss are names because they are good and because they are babies. Their media coverage adds to their hype. They are very good, but there a five receivers that a team would take before Moss or TO.

After last season, there might be more than 5. Of the top of my head, I would take these guys over Moss or TO in no particular order.
Anquan Boldin
Larry Fitzgerald
Steve Smith
Hines Ward
Chad Johnson
Santana Moss
Torry Holt
Joey Galloway
Marvin Harrison
Assuming he is healthy, I would take Javon Walker as well.
