Is any roster they pick going to be better than say the entire Detroit or SA team? I don't think anyone in the world could beat those "teams" because they are so fluid. Maybe SA is a little bit of a stretch this year but wouldn't it be better to have a team with some continuity?

I think there's some validity to that point. Just because you throw a bunch of superstars on a team doesn't inherently mean they are going to dominate. As Sky points out, you gotta play as a unit, and an elite NBA team might play better as a unit than an all-star squad thrown together during the off-season.

That said, King James and Kobe are a good start, as Seer mentions. I'll take Redd and Redick too. Throw in some KG, Duncan and a Dwight Howard, Dwayne Wade and Chauncy Billups and now we're talkin.

It's just too bad Kelly Leak....errrrrr....Steve Nash is a Canuck.
