BTW, I to am wondering how these "pups" got kidney stones.
Okay, let me drive, here.

I was told the main reason for the stone was because I was drinking too much caffeine and not enough water. It had nothing to do with my errant tee shots.

I was never told, but that could be the case for me as well. Btw, my CT scan showed not only two kidney stones, but also a tumor and a cyst on my kidney. Fortunately, the tumor turned out not to be cancerous, but there were some tense times for awhile.

Since I was 39 at the time, I'm not exactly sure I qualified as a "pup" when it happened.

Terry, 39 does move one out of the pup class and into yearling status. Still compared to me your still in spring time.

Ain't nuthin' a dude will ever experience that will compare to the pain of a kidney stone that won't dislodge itself and move the fuck on down and out of the way...

It's the closest thing to going through labor a man will ever experience, 'cept kidney stone pain doesn't arrive in waves that come and go.

You're in agony until it moves, or until you get the I.V...

Btw, I've gotten them my entire life. They don't just occur as one gets older. Dietary considerations notwithstanding, you're either predisposed to getting them or you aren't.

There's a saying that what makes gold so valuable is the effort it takes to get it.

A shame kidney stones can't be cashed in.....

My pops has a jar of 'em.....
