I actually think we might maybe have a chance...

Its hard to have confidence as a Michigan Basketball fan.
But, things have gone nicely during the first 16 games. Beating Minnesota on the road is a positive indication that we are on the right track.
This Wednesday is huge for the program. If Michigan wants to turn the page, they MUST beat the Sparties in Ann Arbor. State is good, but they are beatable.
So, I'll lay out and say:
Michigan 73
MAC Aggies 69

the last person in college basketball i'm betting on to win a big game is tommy fucking amaker. winning at minnesota is nice, but minnesota is 0-5 in the big 11. big difference. scu-m winning at minnesota is as much of a positive indication things are going well as msu football winning big at illinois.
tommy amaker will never be successful in ann arbor, period.

Let's not live in denial here, MSU rules hoops in this state...they'll roll on Wednesday.

I understand but you're setting yourself up for a huge pile on if State rolls 'em. If you give in now, it won't hurt as much as when the inevitable occurs. StateFan probably feels the same way when they play us in football.

Even in a down year for Minny, going into that gym and getting a win was tough. Doesn't seem to be the case this year.
MSU rolls UofM. 10 point win at least.

During the Clem Haskins era, Williams Arena was always a bitch to get a win there.

Babs is being quiet, as usual. I'm sure after the game there will be a thread or 8 if they win, 0 for a few months if they lose.

You say that now, but just wait...Ron Zook is the savior of Illinois Football...
Dammit...I almost had that out with a straight face!
Not that its saying much, but after the 30 point drubbing Iowa took last week, I've got renewed respect for Izzo's team. The SI hype didn't kill them as much as I had thought.

State is only favored by 1 point in this game. I'm gonna make some easy money tonight.

Nice win, mich fans.
Looks more and more like the Big 10 champs will have at least 4 conference losses.
Gotta rank the conference at the top with the Big East....looking tough.

These predictions just aren't going too well for me.
Props to Michigan for playing great in the 2nd half.

Great win Michigan. Since Babs isn't here, and won't be for awhile, I'll try to outline her next post. I can't capture the pure suckitude of her actual posts, but it will go something like this:
-random words in all caps
-shot at the refs for calling a shitty game
-conspiracy theory involving a plot against MSU
-shout out to Remmy Neitzel for playing a good game
-calling out Duke for losing to Georgetown
-calling out OU for sucking. Not specific, but probably something to do with Taj Grey
-calling out ND for sucking. This would be correct. ND does suck.
-calling out other teams/fans saying MSU will go further in March/April than their teams
And then she'll disapear for another few weeks, only to be seen making drive by posts on Rush, Bush, or anything else she has no clue about.

Killian, you can't forget the random words in bold, the totally inappropriate use of commas, and the one word sentences.

Just, fuck off, ok?
Good call.
