The GF and I are going to make a little overnight trip to Magic Mountain in a couple weeks. We're coming to town Friday Feb 3rd and going to Magic Mountain on Saturday. If any of you guys want to grab a beer or two Friday night, let me know. I don't know where we'll be staying yet, but it'll probably be in the vicinity of Magic Mountain.

Thanks for the heads up. I haven't been to MM in 15 years - back when Viper and Ninja were the main attractions. Any other "can't miss" rides we should get done ASAP?

Goliath but thats in the other direction, hit up X first thing, its the best ride in the world but takes for ever to get the trains loaded. After that you have Viper right next to it, hit that one up and then go over the top og the hill and hit scream and Goliath, theyre over next to Colassus(sp?) Batmand and Riddler are both good, superman if its open is on top of the hill next to ninja and psychlone and de ja vu are in the back corner where the Sarajevo Bob Sleds used to be. Have fun

Are you going to be staying near MM in Valencia on Friday night? We often go to Wood Ranch on Friday night, and they have a nice bar that does get crowded...

There is an El Torito practically across the street from Magic Mtn and they have a nice sized cantina....

We're staying at the Guesthouse Inn San Fernando in Mission Hills. I guess it's about 10 miles from MM. The address is 10621 Sepulveda Blvd, if that means anything to you guys.

We can hit up that El Torito place or if there's anywhere else that's more convenient for whoever's going, let me know. We should be in town in time for happy hour Friday night.

I kindof work around the corner from that place....someone got shot there about a year ago.....For a good lunch, go North on Sepulveda, past the 118 fwy and on your left is the "Bear Pit" Missouri style bar-b-que...
