So I guess that when any QB from SC doesn't win the big one in the NFL then they'll be labled as chokers too? I can't wait for Whineart to get drafted by a shitty team and get his a$$ handed to him week after week. Then where will you be?
Start thinking of the excuses now.

I'm still blown away that there's now a "Manning Award" given to the top collegiate QB...

Has any Manning ever done anything anywhere to merit getting an award named after the whole crew?

Archie, Peyton and Eli...All, good, solid QBs. Some big numbers even, granted, in the case of Peyton.

Still, what was Peyton primarily known for when he was at Tennessee?

"You can't spell 'Citrus' without 'U-T'!", that's what.

Of all the great QBs, collegiate or pro, why name the award after one guy (or a group of guys) who never won a single truly big game in their entire history, at any level?

Thing shoulda been called the "Montana Award"...

the Manning award goes to the Bumpkin most likely to not show up or his team in the big game and then give an interview with an accent that sounds like someone should be playing a banjo and moonshine jugs behind it

I thought it said a lot that Tee Martin won a MNC after Peyton left UT.

Vince Young is the Anti-Manning.

Yeah. nobody is going to have to worry about Youngs daddy trying to broker a deal to get his kid to a team that dad seems fit for his boy

Well that and the fact that Vince is a winner.

Manning was a very good college QB, but still, when I think of him, I think of his 5 INTs in a big game vs Florida.
