Props to Steelers, now lay it on me

The difference in the game was the quarterbacks. Big Ben couldn't be stopped on 3rd down conversions and Jake turned the ball over 4 times.

Game over, right there.

Props to the Steelers, they were a wolf in sheep's clothing as a #6 seed.

The better team won.

Now where's my sig?

It took a whole season but Jake Plummer finally realized that he was, well, Jake Plummer. He just can't shake the stupids out of himself.

That's not your sig, just an observation. :D

What a sad and pathetic excuse of a game that was today. It was definitely not the team on that field today that was on that same field putting away the Pats last week.

What happened to the defense?? Where was the secondary???? We did manage to slow down Bettis, but helloooo!!!! There was also that thing called a passing game of which we did not even think about stopping today. That is how the Broncos gift wrapped this game to the Arm Pitts as a late Christmas gift.

It wasn't all Plummer's fault. Yes he threw a couple of picks, but he did manage to get himself out of some pretty tough situations where most QBs would have just been sacked and he threw some excellent passes that resulted in either a TD or big gains. While he played a small role in our gift to Pittsburgh, it was that high school like defense who turned a perfectly good season into something that may as well have been just like the Texans or the Packers seasons.

Here's to a Seahawks victory in Superbowl XL.

GO AVALANCHE and NUGGETS.

I thought I was getting off easy. LOL!

Jake the Snake is just an average passer and a way above average scrambler. His accuracy just isn't there and that's a major chink in the armor for this team. The only way Denver wins a Super Bowl with Jake at the helm is by running the ball great and playing great defense, neither of which happened today.

I'm sure PSUfan will check in tomorrow for a sig assignment. Knowing PSUfan, you'll wear it well.

FWIW, Jake's int's today weren't a function of innaccuracy... they were a function of bad decisions. That's what he's known more for, not innacuracy. He's good for one bonehead decision/game. Today, two that were quite costly.

Props to the Stillers for capitalizing on both with a TD. Looking very forward to a great game vs. the Seahawks.

Lay it on 'em, PSU.

Pretty convincing win. I felt that if Denver couldn't run well, PGH would have a good game.

I was impressed by the Steeler offensive gameplan. Tight formations on 1st and 2nd, then spread wide on third. It has to be tough to defend the whole field after bringing everything in tight. That was a great way to use the clock and shorten the game.

My suggestion for the sig:

We'll applaud One for the Thumb, in memory of the Bitter_Pittsburgher.

Yeah Champ Bailey hardly showed up to play yesterday but he's not the only one that contributed to the loss yesterday. People around here are still putting 100% of the blame on Jake! But they've been doing that since day 1 and frankly, I can't figure out why. Why people in this city can't get over that John Elway guy I'll never know. Plummer could go for five seasons without a single INT and the second he throws one, "fans" here call for his head.

Yesterdays performance wasn't all entirely Plummers fault. I know I'm in the minority when I say that, especially when it comes to the narrowminded, stuck-in-the-past, uneducated, idiotic, fairweathered Bronco fans that unfortunately put a bad name on the rest of us realistic fans. What about the defense? Those dumbfucks played a HUGE role in yesterdays late Christmas gift to Pittsburgh.

The loss yesterday was a team effort and I'm not doing any finger pointing at any particular player. Several played a huge role and there were WAY too many dumbass mistakes on both sides of the ball.

I'm still trying to figure out how a defensive back for an NFL team can have a similar vertical leap to that of a hippo.

Oh, and...
late Christmas gift
If taking a sledgehammer to your front door, kicking the poodle out of the way, pinching your wife's ass on the way to knocking down the Christmas tree, and tossing all your gifts out through the window into the back of an awaiting F-350 is getting a gift, then yeah... I agree.
