WTF? Landry has 21 wins? He is, by far, the most overrated coach on this list.

How do you rate Landry and Belichick ahead of Noll?
Landry lost two Super Bowls to Noll. And Belichick, though he's had a great run, has still not approached Noll's level of sustained excelence.
Is it beacause Noll made it look so easy?
I'll give you Gibbs because he won 3 titles with 3 different QBs.

Noll made it look 'easy' because his teams in the 70s were absolutely LOADED with talent.
You know that.
In 12 seasons following Noll's last Super Bowl win his teams made the playoffs just 4 times, and his post-season record during that time was just 2-4.
Barrah Switzer would have scratched out 2 or 3 Super Bowl wins with the Steeler teams of the 70s.
I respect Landry's longevity.
Belichick is brilliant.
Playoff game-in, and playoff game-out, he has seriously outcoached his opposition, and 3 Super Bowl wins in 4 years is remarkable.

I have a ton of respect for Landry's longevity, but we are talking about post season sucess. 2-3 in the big game and 3 straight losses in the NFC Championship game tell me that Landry (with a busload of talent as well) underperformed in big games.
As for Belichick, 3 of 4 is remarkable. But so is 4 of 6. Let's see how Belichick does the next 3-4 years before we start making comparisons.

Of course he got there a lot. We aren't talking about the Dick Vemiel's and Mike Ditka's of the world when we talk about the best of the best. That being said, when you are talking about the best of the best, the standards are higher. And one of the standards is you can't be ranked higher than the guy who beat your TWICE for all the marbles.
