I've sat up there last year! I was up at the railing and the secret service guys are on you like hawks if you so much as put your hand over the railing, which I did. :? The stairs are very steep when you go in. It's almost like you are going to tumble over the edge if you lose your balance.

Latest information is that the charges have been dropped. Whatever one's opinion of Cindy Sheehan is, it's beyond reasonable dispute that that's a good thing. Wearing a shirt with a slogan critical of a war is clearly not a criminal offense.
