Awful like a dude watches his sister get gang raped to death 10 minutes after his best friend gets his brain's clubbed to death awful, or awful like you feel like you're falling down a well as you finish the last few chapters and then recommend the book to your wife and she cries for 45 minutes after she's done awful?
