I respect what Dexter is doing. He's trying to help his step-son make the best decision. Rack him for being disgusted by Carroll calling to complain about his recruiting ranking.

Who's to say that PSU wants him that badly? Are you on speaking terms with the PSU recruiting coordinator?

Isn't his academic eligibility still up in the air, anyway?

Don't buy into that, Dave. Dexter is a lose cannon and has backpedaled significantly since those earlier statements.

Guy seems like trouble to any program that takes his son...

Well...I'm certainly going to admit that I don't know the whole story. I guess we'll see, but at the end of the day, let's hope the kid is playing where he wants to play, and that he is willing to buckle down and do what it takes to succeed.

Mike Farrell seems to think that Hazelton to PSU could happen at any moment.

Which means he's almost a lead pipe lock for USC.

from what I understand since Vidal sent his letter to USC, he can not commit to anyone else for 30 days, then he could send the letter again to USC and the second 30 days will take him beyond the April 1st cut off, he will have no recourse but to go to USC

but that could be wrong

Yes, it may seem that way, but seem doesn't always = the way it is.

Kevin Jones for example. PSU cold have easily said that Kevin's dad was going to be a major pain in the ass to the VaTech program. If I recall he never was. Just saying.

I don't remember ever hearing a peep out of him or his father while he attended Tech. Impressive, considering he is the best RB to ever come through VT's program. I just wish he had stayed on his last year, but how can you blame him for leaving.
