Will Cheney step down?

Prior to the shooting incident... I had wondered when/if Cheney would step down "due to health reasons" to allow the next Republican hopeful (whoever He/She is?) to gain visibility before the 2006 election. I have also heard this postulation on talk radio.
Now, in light of the shooting and it's emotional effects on Dick, will he resign before the end of his term??

I think Cheney and Bush will force their profits up another notch. Look for gas prices to hit $11dy million dollars per barrel.
All of you are fools for buying gas that creates fog and harmful accidents. These gas prices are also Bush's fault because the birdshot lead is now more expensive due to the birdshot lead conspiracy.
The NRA was given a heads up from Art Bell so they stocked up on supplies before the Bush administration cornered the birdshot lead market.
Be forewarned though!!!! Cheney has it out for you people in two commodity markets.

He accidently shot one of his friends. He didnt fucking butcher him up and rape the dudes wife.
I understand the VP shooting a guy is news but this is ridiculous.
The Rep think it is not news, while the dems are all acting like Cheny shot them personally.
