1.7 cents to gemany, or free if they have skype also.. having a german wife, this is looking at being a viable option. plus the govt cant intercept it. sweet.

Fatbones made a post about the FBI's Carnivore project. The carnivore project is basically a black box sniffer that the FBI puts into some ISB's networks to sniff out your traffic. The problem is that the FBI probably can't crack encrypted material unless they somehow put a back door into it. I'm not saying its not possible, but considering that a lot of the encryption technologies used on the web are open source, its probably not likely, especially considering that we are talking about a foreign company.
