Leinart > Young

If I'm building my team around a young quarterback, give me Leinart.
If my team sucks ass and I need someone to carry the team on his back, give me Young.
If I have a great team with a great system already in place, with a great line and great backs and receivers, Leinart is better.
If my teams sucks ass in all possible ways, Young will be able to salvage more out of it.
If I'm a GM, my plan isn't to put my QB on a shitty team for many years. My plan is to build a nucleus of talent around him. There's a ceiling with Young that isn't there with Leinart. Young will be a highlight reel on crap teams and his free-spirit style of play will snakebite him in the ass in a designed offensive system. Leinart will become a part of his system and make other players the highlight reel. The choice is easy.
