Anyone seen this yet? Shine I am sure you have watched it. I saw the first episode last night and found it somewhat lacking. It's like American Idol for BBall but toned down a lot. Plus, BK is a little theatrical for me. While I love the guy and think this is a really neat idea, I think espn could have done a little better.

Saw it once. Not into reality shows. Thought it sucked. It really surprised me Knight did this. Tricking up his basketball program is not his style...or at least, not in the past.

Exactly, and furthermore, he must hate ESPN. Whether it was the stupid mockumentary they did or all the other crap he gets upset about, I find it hard to believe he did this. Maybe the money is good or he wants to rival the 12th man of A&M w/ his own 6th man.

You know me, this bad boy is on my TIVO season pass!!! It's about what I expected to be honest. I am not a fan of any reality shows. I've never seen one episode of Survivor or American Idol or any of the other crap. "Reality TV" is contrived bullshit so I'm not shocked that Knight School has much of that as well.
IMO, Knight is doing this for two simple reasons. One is to continue to give Myles Brand a big middle finger. One of the items those two clashed on was Brand's desire for more advertising/media with the program for money, which Knight was against. Since Knight can hold a grudge with the best of them and can act like a child with the best of them he's going over the top at TT with endorsements and what not as a big FU to Brand. This show is another example of that.
The second is more out of genius than spite. He knows the exposure he and the program will get out of this can only help with recruiting. With the cameras around Knight will never go into meltdown mode and will be on his best behavior. The coverage will be a boost to recruiting and will show Knight in a more positive light.
The main thing I've taken from the 2 shows thus far is, MAN can that guy coach basketball.

I saw part of an episode last Sunday, waiting for "SportsCenter" to come on.
Looked more like an ad for a military boot camp.
