THE Buckeyes are pretty good...but, not a #1. They are WAY too Streaky on Offense. The "D" is Stellar! But, if they have a bad shooting night....they could go OUT in the 1st Game.
GW?
i dunno...any Marquee wins?
nope.
Granted....they haven't "Lost" anything stupid yet; but, i don't see them as a 2 seed beating the winner of a 7/10 Game in the 2nd Game.
i'd say that Memphis is still a #1.
Buckeyes might be a #2.
Tennetuckey is a #2.
GW is a #3 at best.

WTF? You trying to put a hex/curse/whammy/spell/jinx/evil eye on the Buckeyes? Where's my lucky rabbit's foot...shit, gonna need the whole rabbit now.
Hope you're happy now, dammit!

Ohio State isn't a strong #1 choice but past Duke, UConn and Villanova...it's a toss up among the next handful of teams. Honestly, there's three #1s and five #2s. As of Monday, the Buckeyes have a decent strength of schedule (21) and a 7-4 record against the top 50 in the RPI. If they win out including the conference tournament...they'll finish with just 4 losses on the year and win the toughest conference in the country. I think that gives them a strong claim for the last #1 seed.

Fwiw, if the season ends today the last #1 seed goes to Memphis. Of course, the last #1 seed will get sent out West, although that applies only to the Regional (Memphis' pod site will be in Dallas, which is the closest of the 8 pod sites to Memphis).
Still a lot of basketball still to be played between now and the tournament selection date, though, so that could change.

Here's the way I see the top seeds shaking out if the season ends today (pod site for each team in parentheses):
Washington Regional:
1. UConn (Philadelphia)
2. George Washington (Dayton)
3. North Carolina (Greensboro)
4. Florida (Jacksonville)
Atlanta Regional:
1. Duke (Greensboro)
2. Texas (Dallas)
3. Illinois (Auburn Hills)
4. Tennessee (Jacksonville)
Minneapolis Regional:
1. Villanova (Philadelphia)
2. Ohio State (Dayton)
3. Boston College (Auburn Hills)
4. Washington (Salt Lake City)
Oakland Regional:
1. Memphis (Dallas)
2. Gonzaga (Salt Lake City)
3. UCLA (San Diego)
4. Pittsburgh (San Diego)
Pittsburgh is the odd man out and gets sent to the San Diego pod site as a result. Also, this assumes that Villanova can go to the Philadelphia pod (otherwise they'll swap pod sites with George Washington), and that George Washington can go to the Washington Regional (they'll swap regional sites with Ohio State otherwise).
Still could change between now and Sunday, of course.

Looks good to me.
Rather see Gonzaga in Duke's bracket.
