I'm leaving for Vegas tomorrow.(a lot of fresh fish in vegas, playing poker should be easy money)
But who do you like, and who's your dogs to win, and win outright!
some of the games i really like are:
1.Bradley+ they have a nice team, and KU has noone to man their 7 foot giant! i might actually take Bradley to win outright on money line
2.Northern Iowa+ struggld towards end on conference play, made a nice run in tourney, they are a decent team, and have some kids who can score from outside.
3.California- They aren't a bad team, NC st is playing horrible, and in a major funk.
4. Michigan ST - Line is way too low, spartans are tourney ready, and Geroge Mason lost their best player for sucker punching kid in tourney!
5. UNder in SIU/WVU and Under in Tejas/Penn. I could see both games going way under.
just a few of games i'll be laying the lumber too.
i think i have 26 games i will be playingbetting! could be broke by saturday!
Wheres Ucunt when you need him!

i wouldn't bet against Kansas. at least to lose. they put it on UT who has a better than solid frontcourt with Aldridge, Grampaw Buckman, and PJ.
you ought to give the points if you want opinions, BTW.

Montana should be a safe underdog.
Frankly just bet all underdogs.....and first half unders would be good as well in the first round....teams tend to come out a bit tentative. Don't be seduced by the big, public favorites. You'll get your ass handed to you.
If you see a line that looks too good to be true, it probably is, either bet the other way or don't bet it all!
I'm no expert but I've gambled for a lot of years and over time you do learn a few lessons.
Good luck. I'll actually be in Vegas tomorrow and Wednesday as well. Sadly though, I'll be working.

Also you are right about the soft poker in Vegas.....lots of tourists and some horrible play, but just understand this will significantly increase the number of "bad" beats you take. Take it in stride and have fun and just take note of the guys who do this for a living, some of them reside in Vegas well.

which is why i'm staying away from limit games. the 300-500 minimum buy in games are what i'm playing. keeps many fish out, but also brings in the guy who thinks 7 2 offset are go all in hands before the flop! tv poker has created way too many donaters in hold'em
in limit, you have 5-7 players in the pot at all times. they won;t fold, no matter what they have!

Whatever Connecticut is favored in the first round, they'll cover.

CAL lost to Eastern Michigan, one of the worst teams in D1. I'd stay away from them.

UConn would fall into the category of big, public favorite. Albany doesn't suck and 22.5 is a bucketload of points to give. Vegas knows everybody and their brother will bet UConn, Duke, UNC and the like and therefore will shade the lines against them.....

My mistake. I thought UConn was playing the winner of tonight's game. I guess it's 'Nova? Monmouth and Hampton are abysmal. 'Nova will kill either of them.
Edit: i'll take Illinois -8.5 vs. Air Force
Texas -14 vs. Pennsylvania
Xavier +5.5 vs. Gonzaga
