Man, I wish I could have watched the game. Fucking Indiana was on at the same time so no chance in hell am I going to get to watch any of it. I was feeling good up 11 points with 10 min to go, and SU just kept coming back.
Our boys held on though. I think we can get past LSU. I'd love to make the 16 and play Duke and their shitty ass defense.

Thanks, harv.
You know, I'm really not a basketball fan. This is ironic considering I'm from NYC and now live in San Antone. I'd go to Reed Arena to watch the Ags lose my last three years in Aggieland as a diversion.
However, there is a small group of Aggie Basketball diehards who suffered immensely throughout the years and have tirelessly supported the Ags. I'm happy for them.
I kind of watched yesterday's game (switching back and forth from the WBC). I hope the Ags continue doing whatever they're doing that's successful (basketball strategy is WAY beyond me, as is the seemingly arbitrary manner in which the rules are applied). For the next game, I'll head to a local sportsbar and try to watch.

I read from a top Ag booster that Gillispie has mentioned that if A&M does not do everything he asks for to inprove the program (facilities, marketing, etc), he would look for other offers from schools who will.
Ultimately, I think he wants to be the top program on campus. While, in reality, A&M basketball IS the top program on campus performance wise, it will never be #1 in the hearts of the majority of A&M fanbase.
That's why I'm hoping for a miracle run here. One great year is better than 20 average (at best) years.
However, from the aggieathletics.com website, there was a video there of the tourney selection. When A&M was selected, they interviewed Gillispie right after the initial celebration and his eyes were full of tears. That speaks volumes. He loves this team. hopefully, he loves A&M, or will, just as much and builds something here.

Props to Indy and Aggie Gal from a Big East fan. Indy, I did get the game here. I kept expecting Syracuse to mount a huge run and take over, but they were never able to get over the hump.
Props to the Aggies. The better team yesterday won.

I'm watching them, and I'm impressed...but I just can't really root for a Pitt team in any sport. When they lose, it's like a party in my dome for at least a few minutes, usually more.helmet wrote:RACK. Ibby Jaaber gonna get all up in Texass grill.PSUFAN wrote:Go Quakers.
