Great game there against Northwestern St.

So..let me get this straight. A&M is a lousy team who just beat a 5 seed.

Iowa just lost to a 14 seed, Northwestern St.

A&M beat Northwestern St. 73-61.

What does that make Iowa?

Please, melt below. Or do you prefer to go in the basement Babs-style until football season where you will inevitably run your mouth again before getting bitchslapped?

Big 10 sure is representing well today. Iowa and Wisconsin go down, and Ohio State struggles with Davidson. Here comes George Mason.

Let's not forget IU's near loss yesterday.

I imagine it would go something like this:

-Begrudgingly give props to Northwestern St.
-Throw in a few shots at the refs
-Iowa beat themselves
-Lucky shot at the end
-Say that Iowa would still beat Texas A&M head to head
-Finally say he's glad to see the season end, next year will be different because Alford will be at IU, and now he can focus on spring football.

That pretty much sums it up. I think we can ban noj until fall semester begins.

My apologies on being a few weeks late.....but.....

Props to the Aggies. Must have been tough beating the worst 5 seed ever whose best player was crippled. Just kidding, Frisco, I just had to get you a little riled up.

As for that N'Western State loss. Shit happens. I was mad for a few hours. Then I left work, got liquored up on St. Patty's day and moved on. 2-3 years ago, probably would have cried myself to sleep! Just a game.

N'Western State is a team we beat 99 out of 100 times. They made an incredible rally. It happens. We're not the first team to ever get upset and lose when a kid hits a lucky shot. And we won't be the last.

And, Mace pinned the tail right on the donkey. Couldn't agree more.

And, since football was brought up here, with the mixture of the favorable schedule and our talent coming back, we could sneak into the national title game. This team is MUCH better than last year and the schedule is a ton lighter. You can call me a homer all you want, but I guarantee you we go no worse than 10-2, and probably 11-1 with the not-so-slim possibility of 12-0. These next 2 years are going to be the best 2 year run in Iowa football history. Most talent we've ever had. Even better than what Hayden had in the mid 1980's.

As for A&M, they'll suck just like always!

It was still a great season.
